The consortium brings together 12 organisations from Academia, Business and Government. The organisations represent Spain, Greece, Belgium, Austria, Slovenia, Slovakia, the United Kingdom and Finland.
The diversity of the organization types and the geographic location of the ONLINE-S3 partners ensure that the project results will reach different communities and countries across Europe. The different expertise of the project’s consortium will also safeguard the existence of complementary skills and approaches in order to reach the project’s objectives. All project partners have important and complimentary roles in the project’s Work Packages. They collaborate regularly both by means of on-site physical meetings and tele-conferences throughout the project cycle.
Two interdisciplinary research units from the Aristotle Univ. will work together, Urban and Regional Innovation Research (URENIO) and Online Sourced – Web INformation Distributed Systems (OSWINDS).

Educational Institution based in the United Kingdom. The university is represented through the Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation, which is commissioned to accelerate Scotland’s progress towards a sustainable future. Its thematic areas include policy, innovation and skills.
Educational Institution based in Finland. The AALTO School of Science is known for its research and education in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystems and intelligent cities and has extensive experience in EU funded research projects.
Not for profit research centre based in Belgium. It promotes the understanding of the performance and development perspectives of the European Research Area and European, national and regional, innovation systems, particularly in relation to societal challenges.
Research and Development Consultancy based in Spain. RTDI offers consultancy services on technology brokering, R&D integral management, IPR management, exploitation planning for innovative solutions, business and Investment plans.
Research-driven company based in Greece. It specializes in the development and management of innovation ecosystems and intelligent cities. The company has created a portfolio of solutions for intelligent cities, mainly in the fields of the innovation economy and governance.
Multi-disciplinary research and innovation company based in the United Kingdom. Comprises young creative and highly skilled computer scientists and electronic engineers as well as retained professional consultants with expertise in Data Protection, socio-technical, and cognitive -developmental psychology.
Research and Development Consultancy based in Slovenia. Its main activities include advice, assistance and professional support services for SMEs, regional development, economic research and development, and HR development.
Research and Development Consultancy based in Austria. It holds expertise in three commercial sectors: “service of automatic data processing”, “innovation consultancy”, and “event of trainings and seminars”
Public Organization based in Slovakia. It supports the development and growth of Slovak SMEs to improve their competitiveness at the local, regional, national levels, on the EU market and globally. It Is part of the Enterprise Europe Network.
NUTS 2 Public Authority based in Greece. It is a dynamic organisation with multilevel responsibilities, aiming to improve the living standards of the nearly two million residents of the region and to enhance decentralization into a dynamic growth lever for the Greek region.
